On March 29, 2024, Deputy Mayor of Tianjin, Li Wenhai, accompanied by his staff, paid a visit to the Hilong Oil Tower in Beijing to learn more about the developmental progress of Hilong Group and its marine engineering endeavors. Present at the event were Chairman Zhang Jun, CEO Dai Daliang, Senior Vice President Gu Hong, and other key leaders of Hilong Group.
During the visit, Deputy Mayor Li was briefed on the operational landscape of Hilong Group and Hilong Offshore Engineering. Mr. Li commended Hilong's unwavering spirit and dedication. He also lauded Hilong Group's solid grasp of enterprise development trajectories, attributing its transformative success to the concerted efforts of its workforce and its diversified developmental approach centered around core business domains.
Mr. Li mentioned China’s current pursuit of maritime economic advancement and noted how Tianjin laid out comprehensive blueprints for its maritime economic development. The municipality aims to elevate the maritime economy as one of its twelve pivotal industries. This approach has an overarching focus on "port, production, and urbanization". He affirmed Hilong Group's achievements in marine engineering and extended a warm welcome to Hilong's expressed interest in establishing marine engineering operations in Tianjin. Furthermore, he provided invaluable insights and recommendations for the advancement of Hilong Marine Engineering, emphasizing the Tianjin Municipal Government's commitment to furnishing robust support in terms of production infrastructure, fiscal policies, financing mechanisms, and talent acquisition endeavors.
Chairman Zhang Jun of Hilong Group extended a cordial reception to Tianjin’s Deputy Mayor and his delegation, expressing gratitude for Tianjin Municipal Government's longstanding support for Hilong Group. He hailed Mr. Li’s visit as a testament to Tianjin's keen interest in Hilong's progress and pledged to ramp up investments in the company’s marine engineering.
Accompanying Deputy Mayor Li during this visit were Chen Shizhong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Tianjin Municipal Government, along with officials from the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Tianjin Investment Promotion Agency, and Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Management Committee. Li Xiuping, General Manager of SINOSURE Tianjin Company, and others were also in attendance.
